THE FARMERS’ PUBLICATION. INFORMATIVE AND USEFUL. The New Year number of “The Cooperator,” the official record of the work of the Farmers’ Co-op. Organisation of Taranaki, lias been ' published, and serves well to keep up the good standard set by previous numbers. It opens with a brief resume of the conditions ruling in' the previous year, and stresses the good prospects for the farming community during the year just commenced, with a strong appeal to all farmers to support their own .concern. Valuable and timely information of various kinds is given, with reports on all classes of stock, of land, and of produce. The articles include those on the culling of “robber” cows, dipping of lambs, pigs, pastures, tree planting, and a strong plea for adequate preparation for the early spring. A ladies’ page, with particulars of the Women’s Division housekeeper scheme and a list of useful recipes, will serve as a special feature for the women on the farms.
, The whole makes a most useful and timely publication, capitally compiled and neatly printed. It is procurable from any office of the Farmers’ Coop. in Taranaki.
