Wednesday night’s oudotin was the first since Sunday to report a definite improvement. It justified the hope expressed that seemingly the 'Stationary period through which the patient is pausing does not signify that the King is. losing ground. The “stationary reference to the Local condition shows that the disease is virtually conquered. The whole pioblean to now to build up the strength. This, it would seem, is being slowly achieved. The rays were not applied reports from Paris say a, new serum is being forwarded from France for the use of the King. It is officially learned, however, that, this has not been ordered. It is pointed! out that the time for the useful application of such a serum has passed. Discussion is proceeding as to a suitable winter residence for his Majesty when ill© is suffcently recovered.
