(From Our Own Correspondent)
A. large number of parents and friends assembled in the Mungumingi hull on Friday for the breaking-tip. ot school and the distribution of the prizes. The chairman, Mr. Leu Barnard, referred Lu the very satisfied work of the school under the ’teacher, Mr. Sinclair. The ■ children rendered a programme of songs and recitations which was much appreciated, after which the prizes were' given, every child receiving one and the small children, too young for school, also a small present. Bernaid Martin received liis proficiency certificate, also the dux prize. The ' chairman then presented a vase to Mrs. lioddic as a token of goodwill and appreciation from the girls of the sewing, class. He- also presented a clock to Mr. Sinclair on tho occasion of liis approaching marriage. Afternoon tea was then handed round bv the ladies,
