Before a large house to-nigh't Artie Hay (holder), 10.5£, defeated Reg Trowern (challenger), 10.5, in the wel-ter-weight championship and for the Truth Belt. The fight went the full distance and was of an even nature, Hay winning on points. The decision met with a mixed reception.

Fighting in Cali, Colombia, TTzcudun won. a merited decision over the Canadian, Jack Renault, before 30,000 spectators. The next fight on Rickard’s card is Young Stri-bling versus Jack Sharkey, .and after several more eliminations Dempsey may again take the ring.
