ACTORS PLAY DOUBLE ROLES

PARIS, Dee. 26. Actors played doable, roles on Christmas night, when scene-shifters struch for higher wages. The actors were called upon to shift the scenery themselves during the intermissions and the management of the Odeon Theatre was forced to substitute another play for the scheduled “Bluebird” by Maeterlinck, because the scenery was too heavy for the actors.
