Butter is quiet ; owing to the approach of the holidays. Australian and New Zealand are firm and prices unchanged. Danish is easier at 2065. Cheese is steady. New Zealand coloured 99s to 100 s, white 96s to 98s; Australian coloured 98s to 995, white 96s to 975.
McCay and Laurenson have received the following cable from their London principals, A. J. Mills and Co., Ltd. : Butter. —This market is quiet; buying is practically over until after the holidays. Finest 184 s to 186 s, firsts 182 s to 184 s ; Danish, 214 s to 2165. Cheese.—This market is quiet, with New Zealand white cheese at 96s to 975, coloured 99s to 100 s.
