Many friends in Hawera and- district .vill regret to learn of the death of Air. Fred. Cud.by, which, took place today. Deceased, who, was a bootmaker by trade, had resided in Hawera for about 30 years or more, and at one time was in business on his own account. In his younger days his hobby was the rearing of canaries, and he was also a- keen poultry fancier. . Mr. Ciidbv, by his kind, and unassuming nature, made’ many friends in South Taranaki. Deceased had been in indifferent health for some time. He leaves a grown-up family. Air. C. Cndby, of Messrs. Ciidby and; Tyrell, is a brother.
