A fire in the Sydney' City Council s new powerhouse at Bunnerong destroyed a large quantity of valuable switch-gear belonging to Metropolitan Vickers Ltd., which was in a storeroom. Fireman Hayden was entrapped in a corner of the store, blit fought his waythrough the flames and fell exhausted just as liis comrades managed to reac h him and pull him to safety.
