At the rifle miectiing in the Jamieson maitch, at 800 yards: two men, Poyitt (Sydney) and Hutchins (Yorkshire), with a possible, shared first place. Ivor (ketone) and Yeninel (Masterton) ware IGtli and 30th respectively, each wit-li 48, takipg £l. In the John Walker match, ait 900 yards l , three competitors, James, Cameron, and Sutton, all of New South Wales, tied with 49. Vann ell was 86tli and Mclver 90th, each with 44, (taking £l.
In the Motton match, 400 yards, four tied with 49, the best being Davies; (Victoria) and No-tt (South Australia). There were no New Zealanders. The Longfleld Aggregate was won by James (Parramatta) with 276 out of a. pO'S.-dble 300. The first stage of the King's Prize match is being fired to-day. Competitors at the Anzac range were to-day occupied in the -first stage of the King’s Prize match at 300, 500 and 600 yards. A moderate to gusty right front wind caught many even experienced shots napping, but the scores will not be ready until later.
In the Longfleld Aggregate, which, ist for the six matches fired on Monday and Tuesday. Vermel l . (New Zealand) was 14th with 269, taking £4 in prize money. The Do dels Aggregate for the three mPitches on Tuesday was won bv Major James ('Concord) with 141. Mclver was 20tlx with 136 and Venmoll 51st with 133. Ea-ch of them took £1 in prize money.
