Mr W. W. Sutton, late senior supervisor of the telegraph branch, Palmerston North, left on Friday on annual leave (says the “Standard”) prior to commencing duties a t Hawera, to which office he has been transfererd os postmaster. On Thursday evening he was the recipient of a. presentation made on behalf of the. post office staff, and was wished every success in his new sphere. Mr Kami say MacDonald, leader of the British Labour Party, is -making a visit to Vienna, Prague and Berlin. He will lie accompanied by Sir Oswald Mosley, who is a. Labour member of Parliament, and his wife, Lady Cynthia Mosley, who is a daughter of the late Marquis Curzou, formerly Foreign Secretary. It has been arranged that while in Berlin Mr Ham say MacDonald shall address members of the German Reichstag in the Reichstag building. —Official Wireless.
