LORD LASCELLE’S CASTLE.

Ha-sty reports of the fire at Lord Lascelles’s Irish home have been exaggerated. The- outbreak was confined to the stables and garage. The damage amounted to £2OO A search of the premises revealed tins of paraffin and petrol. Princess Mary and Lord Lascelles ■will not alter * their arrangements. They will go to Portumana on Saturday, visiting Belfast on Thursday to fulfil public engagements. Meanwhile they will occupy the land agent’s house in Portmnana Estate. The castle itself was burnt in 1921 and was not rebuilt. [An earlier message states that the castle was burnt to the ground early Thursday morning.]
