KING EDWARD PARK CLUB. ANNUAL AIEF.TTNG, Air I). Bu-ngessi presided at the annual meeting of the, King Edward Park Tennis Club, held last night* in the Borough ‘Ohiitnibers. There was- a fair attendance of members. . ANINiC A-L .REPORT. Tournaments.—The season was opened wi v :h a- Yriiikee tournament and during the year trio more were held which were enjoyed by all participating. The dub held a. ladies’ championship and handicap singles-, both 'being won by Aliss J. Hicks, with Alias X. Reid second. The 'men’s -chanitpionship singles was won by Air T. Franklin, Air H. Freeman b,eaiig runner-up, and the handicap singles ivas won by Air T. Lay with Air N. Stead second. Aliss J. H icks is to he (congratulated on her fine p-erfo-niiancie in winning the handicap event from scratch, arid al-So iii being selected ‘:o -play first lady for South Taranaki.
