INCREASES AND DECREASES. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) Received 10.40 a.m., to-day. LONDON, Sept. 12. British trade returns are as under: The imports increased by £7,584,000 and the exports by £2,806,000, and reexports decreased by £36,000. The principal increases were: Imports, meat £2,172,000, non-dutiatolo food and drink £3.130,000, raw cotton £1',835,000, milling seeds £640,000, hides and skins £671,000; exports, iron and steel manufacturers £576,000, machinery £512,000, woollen manufactures £416,000 vehicles £409,000. The decreases were: Imports, grain and flour. £1,820,000, dutiable food and drink £1,148,000, wood and timber iC 532,000, rubber £968,000; exports, coal £229,000.
