Aug. 13 The New Zeailand team for the Third Test wild be chosen from the following : Lindsay, Lucas, Roibilliard, Carlton, Gre n.side, Lilburne, Nicliolls, Johnson, Dailey, Stewart, Burrows, Swain, Hadley, AI. Brownlie, .Alley, Einlayison, Hazlett, AtcWiilliams. Tlie manager of the Springbok team ha® raised doubts about the legality of the New Zealand loose head forward in the scrum and be ha® decided to place tlie rules before the South African Rugby Board and to ask for a ruling. New Zealander® are confident that no objection can be made to playing the loose head in the front row. as was done in the Second Test. They propose to pack the same scrum again. It worked effectively at Johannesburg, but they are expecting some sort of a counter move from the Springboks. Mr V. H. Neser, who refereed the two first Tests, has been chosen a® referee for the third.
