HORSE FAIR.
LARGE ENTRIES. GOOD PRICES MAINTAINED. . The horse sale conducted by the Farmers ’ Co-op. Organisation Society, commenced yesterday, and is being concluded to-day. Friday was devoted to unbroken and heavy classes. There was an exceptionally heavy yarding of unbroken horses, quite the best stamp of horse seen in the sale ring for some time. Bidding, however, was fairly stack. Practically the only unbroken ones sold were heavies (half and threequarter da lights). The top price was secured by Mr J. Kcrrisk, of Kakaramca, who sold a particularly nice looking three-year-old gelding for £39. Heavy Waiggon horse's brought from £25 to £37 and the demand for this class is keen. . To-day’s sale is being devoted to light milk carters and hacks, 'tin 1 yarding being very good in both classes.
