(From Our Own Correspondent.)
PERSONAL. The many friends of Mrs'. L. P. Clark will he pleased to- learn that she is progressing satisfactorily. Mi ss M. Daley, who has been spending an extended holiday in Taranaki, left Patea by car on Tuesday for Wellington, where, she will stay a. few days before proceeding to her home in Christchurch.
Mr. N. Hermon, who has been ill for some weeks, will soon be about again.
Mr. Thomas Moore, of New York, U.S.A., who has been staying in Patea as the guest of his brother, is at present- on a. short trip to Christchurch. .OBITUARY.
Mrs. M. D. Taylor (who lias been residing with her daughter, Mrs. A. Bennie, for the past six years) passed away on Monday morning last. Deceased was 72 years of age, and is survived by a family of three sons, Messrs. John (Sydney), Alex. (Palmerston North), and Arthur (Patea), and two daughters, Mrs. A. Bennie (Patea) and Miss J. Taylor (Sydney). The funeral took place at- the f local cemetery, the Rev. W. V. Martin officiating.
