JAPANESE WARSHIPS.
ARRIVAL AT SUVA. (United Press Association —By Electric I‘elegrapu Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) SUVA, Aug. 9. The Japanese cruisers Idzumo and Yakumo arrived at 8 o’clock this morning and saluted the port. The HALS. Veronica returned the salute. The admiral and the prince, who landed at ten o’clock will l>e received by the Mayor, Mr Marks. They then proceed to Government House and the Governor then returns the call at noon. A civic reception will be given to the senior officers at 8 o'clock this afternoon at the town hall. All the playing grounds and tennis courts have been placed at the disposal of the visitors.
