CORRESPONDENCE.
HOSPITAL RADIO FUND. (To the Editor.) Sir, —I read with great interest your report of last night’s public meeting ie the above. Mr. Hooker suggests a fleet of oars. Well, that may be' all right, but if lists* were opened in the Press (the same as fbV, the Woller Fund) instead of wasting an enormous amount of bemsine and time, and that money was given to the fund, I should think it would be a better idea. Tdo not agree with Mr. Hooker when lie suggests -a school holiday. Does he think our children are too highly educated? He also says it is not a. matter for the. hospital authorities'. Now. Mr. Editor, if Mr. Hooker pays • as much in hospital rate as some more of us do, he mat also think, that the'hospital might be more‘economically run and enough saved for the above fund. : —T am, etc., RATEPAYER. August f).
