WITHOUT DISTURBANCE.
WAFD POLITICAL PROCEEDINGS
United Press Associauon —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (“Times” Cables.) Received 12.10 p.m.. to-day. LONDON, July 29.
The Cairo correspondent of “The Times” states- that to-day’s political proceedings, about which there was a slight apprehension, passed off not only without disturbance, but in an atmosphere of public indifference which was really extraordinary. It undoubtedly constitutes -a notable success for Mahomed Mahmund and his Government. It reflects credit on the Wafd' leaders’ good sense in recognizing the futility of attempting a disturbance.
