HOLIDAYING- IN AKAEOA. WHAT A VJSTTOTt FOUND. Recently a Wellington business man and his wife spent a holiday at Akaroa, the original French .Settlement on Banks Peninsula, which is of such historical interest to New Zealanders. ’Twa s here in 1840 that 'Captain ‘Stanley hosited the British flag a few days before 'the arrival of the French Fleet.
