PUNISHING THE PARTICIPANTS.
LIABLE TO DEPORTATION.
(United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) Received 1.20 p.m. to-day. LISBON, July 26. As a result of the recent revolt, officers, non-commissioned officers, and civil servants participating therein have been dismissed from the service and are liable to deportation to the colonies. Officers who did not oppose the revolt have been placed on halfpay, while persons found in possession of explosives are to be' deported to Timor.
