ANNUAL MEETING AT ELTHAM
Mr. C. J. Belcher, chairman of direejtors, presided over a good attendance at the• twenty-third annual ci meeting of the Taranaki Farmers’ Mutual In-sur-, a nee Association, held at Eltham on Wednesday afternoon. The gathering inducted policy-holders from all parts of the province. _ . The report and balance-sheet, diseased a highly satisfactory position, a substantial profit being made on the year’s operations in both the fire and accident branches of the association’s business. Messrs. C. Foreman, H. D. Forsyth, and H. G. Gibson, retiring directors, were re-elected, and Mr. H. A. Lennon was re-elected auditor. Mr. C. J. Belcher was re-elected chairman of directors, and was accorded a. hearty vote of thanks for his services in the interests of the association.
