United Press Association—By Electric Telegrapn Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.)
PARTS, July 25. French tennis circles are disappointed at the decision not to reinstate Tilden. who was disqualified from the Davis Cup team for writing 'to the papers. They felt themselves strong enough to beat the Americans, including Tilden, and are naturally annoyed at being put in the position of defeating an inferior team. The newspaper ‘ ‘ Libor, to” suggests that it, must be the supporters of American prohibition who linvq deprived the team of its most, brilliant and experienced player, and adds: “A timely glass of wine, especially in the present torrid, heat, would have inclined, the American tennis Pontiffs to elorncnev. ’ ’
