What proved to be a most enjoyable and successful reunion dinner., was held by the Loyal Egmont Lodge, 1.0.0. F., M.U., in tlie Foresters’ Hall, New Plymouth,, on Monday evening. There were over 80 present, P.G. Bro. G. H. McGaliey presiding. During the evening a. photograph of the late P.G. Bro. W. Hooker was unveiled. In responding to the toast of tlie Manchester Unity, the District Grand Master, Bro. J. Bates (Eltham) said that the Older in New Zealand now had a membership of close on 30,000, and many of the members did not know its- size or imoortance. .It was the .strongest- friendly society in New Zealand, and the speaker hoped that it was doing the best work.
