FATAL ACCIDENT IN AIR. R ACE

Warwick, the London barrister, avlio has been missing since, the first day of the air race round,-' Britain for the King’s Cup, Ava.s found dead to-day. The body, which Avas half hidden by heather, Avas found by a shepherd boy on Broad Law Hill, betAveen Peebles and Selkirk. Warwick's aeroplane, smashed and piled up on the hillside, AAias isome distance from ihe body. Broad LaAV lies directly in a straight line betAveen NeAvoashle and Renfrew. The airman Avas dead right in liis reckoning A\-hen disaster overtook him. He Avas passing over mountainous country that offered little chance of a safe landing. It is possible, that he had been searching for ground to make a forced landing, but had been compelled to, continue until his machine was torched doAA’n.
