CONVICTED ON FRAUD CHARGE
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH; July 2. Joseph Andrew Barron, a married man, a labourer, wlio ltad posed as the owner of a pig farm, was convicted today on charges of obtaining potatoes from storekeepers by fraud, and he was sentenced to twelve months’ hard labour.
