BUCKLEY RECAPTURED.
ARRESTED AT WELLINGTON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 17. John Buckley, who escaped from the Mt_ Eden prison at Auckland on May 25 of this year, was arrested in Wellington to-day bv Detectives McLennan and Jarrold. He will appear before the court to-morrow morning, when he will also be charged with house-break-ing. The escaped prisoner, John Leslie Buckley, who was arrested at Wellington yesterday appeared at the Magistrate’s Court this morning and was charged with being an incorrigable rogue, in that be escaped from prison. There were also charges of breaking and entering- against the accused, who was remanded till Wednesday next. The accused was well dressed.
