WELLINGTON RACES. SECOND DAY’S RESULTS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 12. For the second day of the Wellington Racing Club’s winter meeting the weather was fine, but dull. The track was heavy after the hard frost, and the attendance was good. Results : CORUNNA HURDLES. Of 270 sovs. One mile and a half.
1 Quin com a 1 4 Sir Moment 2 9 Lady Passenger 3 All started. Won by two lengths, with third horse half a length, away, away. Time, 3.0 V. MAI DEN HANDICAP. Of 220 sovs. Six furlongs. "3 Gold Cure 1 1 Mark Mint 2 5 Otairi 3 All started. Won by two lengths, with short bead between second and third. Time, 1.20 V. SFjATOiUN HANDICAP. Of 260 sqvs. Seven furlongs. 4 King Alart 1 9 Marjoram 2 2 Maui 3 All started. Won by a length and three-quarters, with a head between second and third. Time, 1.37} SECOND I HACK STEEPLES. Of 275 sovs. About- two and a half mile®.
2 Mainspring 1 6 Askairi 2 1 San Fern 3 'Scratched: Sir Wa i and Radiate. Won by four lengths, with seven lengths between second and third. Time, 5.41 }. PAiRLIAAIENTAIRY HANDICAP. Of 500 sovs. One mile and a quarter. 7 Bisox 1 2 Nukumai 2 1 Ring Boy 3 All started. Won by a nec-k, with three lengths between second and third.; Time, 2.19 3-5.
