ALLEGATIONS NOT SUPPORTED BY EVIDENCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.} AUCKLAND, Julv 4. At the request of the Auckland 'District Committee an inquiry was held iby the judicial committee of the, -Taka pun a •Tockoy Club regarding the alleged “readies” in the Orcwa and Warworn HighweighS Handicaps run a't the curb ’s summer meeting on .Tanuarv 2S and 30 last. Each of the jockeys riding in these races, and >S. Toon ran and E. E. L'oomb, trainers, and .1. Conquest, another jockey, were examined at length. The comm i'tt oe unanimously decided that no evidence was adduced establishing - the fact that the race's in question were “readies,” and therefore no action rotative to the alleged “readies” was necessary.
