CALCUTTA, Jury 4. At tit?/ too- sales there was better allround demand, European buyon* showing a keener interest. Average prices were:—Common Pekoe Souchong, U :iiill;/.-- to lO annas 6 pies ; clean common broken Pekoe Souchong, 9 annas 9 ipie? to JO annas; even black leaf Pelc-oe. 11 annas 6 pies to 12 annas. Broken Pekoes;. advanced about -six pies. All weil- , mack leaf teas- showed a. similar advance. Clean common broken Pekoe Souchong appreciated three pics; d-iwfcs are firm-. DAIRY PRODUCE PRICES. This morning’s cable news from Messrs EL A Lane and- Co., Ltd., to Mr. 0. H. Buckeridge indicates that there has been an advance in price oi Canadian cheese; price 105 sto 106 s. It is probable this will be reflected in the prices for New Zealand cheese.
