H.B. HUNT CLUB MEETING. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HASTINGS, June 20. The Hawke’s Bay Hunt Club’s annual meeting was held to-day in fine but overcast weather. The course was fair and the attendance good. Results w ere: HUNTERS’ HURDLES. Of 100 sovs. One and a half miles. 2 Ballyfarnon 1 3 Red Bank 2 4 Indian Chief 3 Scratched: Saturn and Master Arch. Won by two lengths, with twenty lengths between second and third. Time, 3.3 4-5. APLEY HACK HURDLES. Of 100 sovs. One and a half miles. 5 Patuki 1 ...G Atareria 2 4 Radiate 3 Scratched: Pale Star. Won by a engtli, with one and a half lengths between second and third. Time, 3.3 3-5. HACK SCURRY. Of 100 sovs. Five furlongs. 11 Locarno , 1 2 Dreamy 2 I Argue' 3 All started. Won by three-quarters of a length, with one length between second and third. Time, 1.5 4-5. ASCOT STAKES. (Australian Press Association —United Service.) Received 2.5 p.m. to-day. LONDON, June 19. The- Ascot Stakes resulted: Brown Jack 1, Bonny Boy 11. 2, Start 11. 3. Twenty-one started. Won by three lengths, one and a half lengths- between second, and third.
