QUEBEC, June «IS. Speaking before the Canadian Seed Growers’ Association, Dr. Robert Magill, secretary of the Winnipeg Grain Exchange, gave alarming figures oil the lowering quality of Canadian grain. The 1927 cron, which he inspected at Winnipeg yielcAl only one oar of No. 1 hard wheat, from 350,000 cars- inspected. The total wheat inspected in Winnipeg yielded only 1 per cent, of No. 1 wheat .and the Northern only 6 or 7 per cent, of No. 2. The northern situation was the worst that bad ever developed.
