CYCLE ROAD RACE.

HAWERA CLUB’S SERIES. HANDICAPS FOIt" WEDNESDAY. The first of the season’s series of cycle road races to be conducted by the Hawera Amateur Athletic Club for tbe Cambrian Rose bowl is to take place to-morrow over a 17 mile course. The race starts at two o’clock. Commencing at the corner of High and Princes Streets, the rout proceeds via Normality to Oltaiawa and returns via the Scott .and Main South Roads to the finishing point at the Haw’era Post. Office. The trophy was won last year by J. Dykes who is one of the scratch riders in to-morrow’s race. Handicaps have been declared by Mr. A. R- Palmer as follow:—G. Griffin, W. Stenning, J. Dykes, (scr); H.
