GrtOD WISHES FOR. HEENEY. (IP TELEGRAPH—PREBB ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, June 12. The Beturned Soldiers’ Association, at its annua? meeting, decided to send a letter to Heeney expressing the hope that he will .meet success in the fight with Tunney. Jll proposing the motion, Air. Headley said that Heeney was a New Zealand •‘Digger” and such a letter might give him that extra punch that would enable him to climb to the top of the tree.
