SCHOOL TOURNEY.
RUGBY AND BASKETBALL. Over seventeen teams have entered for the school football tourney to be held at the Manaia Domain on Monday June 4. They represent all parts of South Taranaki, and spectators may be sure of seeing good exhibitions of the code. In addition the girls will have a basketball tourney for which, ten teams have entered Proceeds of the tourney will be devoted to the Manaia Brass Band fund. The prizes' offered in the, football turney are a small silver cup and a school football for first, and another foot bail for the runner-up. This contest will commence at 1 p.m. shai-p.
