SOUTH TARANAKI WINTER SHOW.
HONEY SECTION. It has often been remarked that South Taranaki produces the finest honey in the world, and there is no doubt tills is borne out by the quality of the exhibits frequently shown at the Hawera Winter Show, in all there are nine classes in this section of the schedule, which offer excellent competition for’those interested in the apiary business. This section has an added interest this year from the fact that the annual conference of the New Zealand Beekeepers’ Association is to be held during the currency of the show. A special display is being arranged with the Agricultural Department, also arrangements have been made for a special display by the Honey Producers’ Control Board. Some excellent special prizes are open for competition; 'and this year should be a record in this section. Entries in this section close on Saturday, June 9, and those desiring schedules can obtain same from the Manager, Box 79, Hawera.
