The Riga correspondent ‘of “The Times” says that Moscow reports the discovery of further cases of economic sabotage in White Russia, the Ukraine, Lraiiis-Uaiieasia and numerous towns in Central Russia. This has .resulted in the intensification of the campaign to sweep out socially alien elements occupying controlling positions. Numerous officials of the Denugel coal trust have been dismissed and 60 who have been arrested will be tried. Thirty-five have been arrested at Smolensk, while five-ex-industrialists have been arrested as the creators of the present financial difficulties of the Kaluga. Textile Trust. Many have been arrested at Leningrad, Bakmut and Nvovrossi.sk, also in the Ukraine and Siberia for sabotaging Soviet building plans, in some eases even building twostoreyed houses without stairs. The newspapers state that the campaign of hate againt the factory village inspectors has developed great intensity. Numbers have been beaten and killed throughout the country.
