The- Governor-General, Sir, Charles Ferguson and Lady Feugusson will remain in Auckland -until J line 7, when (they will make, a tour Q-f Taranaki ami Hawke-’s Bay districts. Their Excellencies wil attend the Manawatu show at Palmerston North on June 21, and leneies will attend the Manawatu show Par.lamentary session.

Dr. L. J. Fraser, late medical superintendent of the Hawera Public Hospital, who is now engaged in privatepractice at Norsewood (Hawke’s Bay), arrived on a short visit to Hawera. last evening, accompanied by Mrs, Fraser, who recently returned from England, where she has been superintending the education of their two eldest sons. Dr. Fraser was a visitor at the- hospital to-day at- the invitation of the medical superintendent. Tomorrow Dr. Fraser, who is the Assistant Director of Medical Service in the New Zealand Defence- Forces and bolds the rank of lieutenant-colonel, will pay an official visit to the Mounted Rifles’ camp at Waverley.
