Red Fuchsia and Pcnpus covered seven furlongs in 1.37. Shining Armour beat Kawhikina and Argue over five furlongs in 1.5. Moa Bird did five furlongs in 1.5. Useful work was done by Govern; Carden, Freeze Out, Avro, Guenross, Main. Vesper us,’ Pi?,rle de> Leon, Pu-tt-hem, Black Mint, Ring Boy, Modern and Royal Game.
HAWERA HORSES FOR WANGANUI. The following horses were entrained for Wanganui this morning, with their respective trainers: G lengariff, San Fera, Gasnnpper, Euchre (AI. Conway); Benzova, Partaga- (C. Jackson); Bonogne (H. Vine); Silvermine, Bis ox (J. Brown); Paitonu, Eka. Polyphemus (J. Fryer); Blimp, Some Lad, Broad Acre, Le Champ (G. New); Royal Alint (R. Brough); Troilus (W. Pine); Argue, Kawhakina (J. Thacker). E George with Alelissa, R. Johnson with Ardaille and Flying Shot, and J. Wade with Toapaiti also passed through by train.
