Bale toon four wickets for 8 runs. Leicestershire made 83 for -none. Derbyshire in the first innings made ISO. Mercer took six wickets for 76. Glamorgan made 91 for three wickets. Lancashire in the first innings made 340 (Hallows 123, Green 61) against Warwickshire. -Gloucestershire in the first innings made 330 (Dipper 119, Neale 63, Burnett 71). Holungdale took five wickets for 25. Sussex made 8 for none. Nottinghamshire in the first strike reached 238 for seven wickets (Gunn 68) against Somersetshire. Worcestershire in the first innings made 83. Jupp> took eight wickets for 29. Northamptonshire made 175. Tarbox took six wickets for 52.
