ACHIEVEMENT TO BE PROUD OF. (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.) RUGBY, Alay 11. Addressing a mass meeting of women in London, the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Stanley Baldwin, referred to the passing by the House of Commons of the (Bill giving votes to women at the age of 21 on the same terms as men. He said it was difficult to realise the amount of history that lay behind the passing of the Bill, and added: “I am proiif] to think it has been given to the Conservative Party to secure the triumph of that cause. T believe in years to come that will not he reckened the least achievement of our great party.”
