CONTROL OF DOG RACING.
GOOD SUPPORT FOR PRIVATE AIE'M'BER ’.S BILL. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.) RUGBY, May 13. The House of Commons yesterday approved by an overwhelming majority the proposal to give local authorities the right, to veto and control dog racing. A private member’s Bill which embodies this principle received the support of several Uabinet ministers and has a good opportunity of becoming law.
During the debate it was stated that there are 45 tracks in this country.
