N.Z. FARMERS’ UNION.
-PROVINCIAL CONFERENCE. HAWERA ON THURSDAY. An event of great interest to farmers will he the twenty-eighth annual conference of the South Taranaki Provincial Executive of the- New Zealand Farmers’ Union, which- will be held in Hawera. on Thursday next. , The delegates will he welcomed; to Hawera by his Worship the Mayor (Mr. E. A. Pa-qey), and the Borough Councillors and' the president of the Chamber of Commerce' will be 'in attendance. All members of the union are cordially welcome to be present, and much useful dismission should take place on the wide range of remits l which appear on the- order paper. The provincial secretary (Mr. E. K. Cameron) lia.s forwarded a circular issued by the publicity branch of the Railways Department, giving_ all details of the farmers’ exclusions to Hamilton Winter Show, . one from Hawera; and one from Whanearei, the first of its kind from the far. north. Requests for accommodation sent to the secretary of the show at Hamil-, ton will be given attention by him.
