BRITAIN EXPRESSES SATISFACTION. . BUT BILL MUST BE DROPPED ALTOGETHER. (AUSTRALIAN PRESS ASSOCIATIONUNITED SERVICE.) Received 10.50 a.m to-day. LONDON , May 2. Sir Austen Chamberlain, in _ the Houise of Commons, said that Britain had replied" to Egypt expressing satisfaction at the postponement of the Assemblies Bill, but repeating the warning that it must be dropped altogether.
