ANNUAL SPORTS MEETING. Entries icr this tournament close bn May *2, and several clubs have already intimated their intention to enter teams. Another interesting portion of the, programme is that reaiting to the horse events, and the Bennett and Sutton Cup, with prize money attached, should attract the 1 usual good entries. The programme is very varied in character, and should suit the tastes of all sections of. the public, and as the association claims to run the ‘premier sports meeting of South Taranaki,” patrons will find their interest aroused all the time. The grounds are ideal for a sports gathering, and well sheltered.
