Couched in friendly terms, j(, expresses the Governnie-ii t’.s inability to admit the 'night of Britain or any other foreign Power to interfere with Egyptian Parliament’s legislation, but in- order to demonstrate goodwill and Eo-ypt’s desire to maintain, friendly relations toward Britain, the Assemblies Bit 1 would be field oyer tmtil next session. It expressed the hope that ,m the meantime the basis of better 1 .A ioEowptiian understanding would be reached, permitting the removal of the. present difficulties.
