HAWERA TRACK NOTES. Despite the fact- that a- large amount of rain has fallen, the trial grass was in good order this morning. The sand track was used for pace work. C. Jackson was first out, and sent Vivo a good working gallop over six f nrlongs. The chestnut mare, going well within herself, covered the distance in 1.23. Benzorn was next worked, his task being .four furlongs down the hack, which he did in -Msec. Silver Rule and a number of youngsters were exorcised on the two-year-ohl track.
