OPERATERS NEARING EXHAUSTION.
BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received 11.45 a.m. to-day. NEW YORK, March 23. 'Stock Exchange sales totalled 3,585,900 shares, making the eleventh consecutive three million share day. General Motors was the sensational feature, adding eight and a quarter dollars per share and closing at the record for the present shares of 187 E Traders on the exchange are beginning to feel the effects of the tremendous strain of the past two weeks and many were nearing physical exhaustion during the session.
