BIG THEFT OF CLOTHING. (BY TELEGRAPH—PREBS association.) DUNEDIN, March 19. The drapery stores of Kilroy and Sutherland were entered on Saturday night and goods valued at £l5O were stolen. Entry was affected by means of a near window. The goods were removed in suitcases, which were stolen from the premises. SPEED LIMIT APPEAL WITHDRAWN. HAMILTON, March 19. Notice of appeal has been withdrawn in the case wherein Mr. Justice Herdman upheld a speed limit of 25 miles on all roads in the Waipa County. BODY OF (MISSING MAN FOUND. AUCKLAND, March U> A lawe clerk named George Miller, aged 25. a single man, has been missing from his home at Stanley Point since March 15. He was found hanged at Takapuna. this morning, the body being .suspended from a willow tree by a rope. - BAILIFF SUFFERS INJURIES. WANGANUI, March 19. John Curran, bailiff, is at present an inmate of the hospital as the result of being attacked on Saturday afternoon bv some unknown assailant, who punched and kicked him on the face, badly lacerated a knee, and injure!
