DESERT GLOW WINS TIIE GUP. FAEROA, March 17. f The O'hincnnu’i Jockey Club opened its meeting at Paeroa to-dnv in perfect weather and under excellent course conditions. There was a record attendance. The totalisator handled £32,‘>33, compared with £28,280 10s on the first day last. year.
